Hey, I'm Tracey. The word kaleidoscope is derived from Greek words meaning observer of beautiful forms, and the intent of my blog is to be a kaleidoscope of all types of design that I love and which inspire me. I hope it will give you inspiration too.

head over heels for wedding invitations

Hey. Minted.com's most recent challenge was to design beautiful & fabulous wedding invitations. It has been so fun designing these invites and so cool to know they could (hopefully) play a little part in a customer's very special day! Which one do you like best?

christmas comes early at c & e!

I am so excited; one of my tava designs Christmas photo cards was recently chosen to be sold on Minted.com! This challenge received over 2,000 beautiful entries so I was very thrilled to find out in June that my Evening Snowflakes holiday photo card was a jury's pick and is for sale now. This card puts me in the holiday spirit, how about you?!

cute red Italiano decorations

Hi, everyone. I've been really busy here at my studio working on many projects for clients. (More on that to come.) In addition to my work, I am also co-chair of my daughter's school parents committee and have been working on these cute table decorations for an upcoming spaghetti dinner event we are organizing. They were super easy and very inexpensive to make! The red checked fabric and real spaghetti give it some nice texture and the clear serving fork is a fun place card holder. And you gotta love the Dollar Store!

silver lining

Happy Thursday! My studio is a home office and we have had some chaos around here lately. Due to a large storm and also because of remodeling, a part of our living space flooded, ceilings fell in and furniture was damaged. Needless to say, it has been a bit chaotic and hectic here recently. However, I found the silver lining in all of this craziness by taking some cool pics of interesting lines and patterns in our new area under construction. Taking these pics is getting me excited for my new space! Take a look.
